Gorira: A Chrome Extension for Screenshotting and Creating JIRA Tickets
Gorira is a free Chrome extension developed by gregory.besson that aims to enhance your JIRA experience by providing a seamless way to capture screenshots and create JIRA tickets. But that's not all! With Gorira, you can also save your screenshots in the cloud and easily share them with others.
The extension offers a range of useful features, including the ability to take screenshots of web pages, paste screenshots from other browsers or desktop apps, and edit your current web page. When editing, you can add comments, arrows, highlights, circles, triangles, squares, text, and icons to your screenshot to emphasize specific areas or provide additional context.
Once you have finished editing your screenshot, Gorira allows you to save it as a PNG file, copy it to the clipboard, or share it in the cloud. Additionally, you can create a JIRA ticket by simply entering a summary and description. The extension will automatically create a new ticket with your provided information, along with the appended screenshot, URL of the page, and user-agent info (make sure to fill in the JIRA settings).
With Gorira, capturing and annotating screenshots for JIRA tickets has never been easier. It streamlines the process and provides a convenient way to communicate visual information effectively within the JIRA platform.
